<p>Seasonal Griller’s Delight (Food Event)</p>
<p>Our next scheduled Seasonal Griller&#8217;s Delight will be<strong> </strong>Sunday, September 18th at the Westside Farmers&#8217; Market. Wine tastings by Condor&#8217;s Hope and Zayante Vineyard along with hand-crafted beer samples by Uncommon Breweries and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery. This is a free event and starts around 10am.</p>
<p>Each spring and summer as the farmers reap the bounty of their labors, the Santa Cruz Farmers&#8217; Market hosts a sampling event to showcase seasonal fruits and vegetables for their patrons.</p>
<p>The focus of this very popular event is to highlight seasonal fare and to introduce market shoppers to new foods and preparation methods; new this season the Market will collaborate with local vintners and breweries to offer complimentary beer and wine pairings.</p>
<p>Guests are treated to samples of grilled fruits, vegetables, meats and simple tapas-styled appetizers throughout the market as they shop and enjoy live music. This event is free, and seating is available.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">*Parking Update: Starting 7/10/10 and available until the rain&#8217;s start, the grass field adjacent to the Westside F.M., will be set up for parking. The gated parking area that has historically been used is no longer available.   We have constructed ingress and egress ramps so vehicles can drive up over the curb and onto the field. We will have market staff overseeing the area to make sure it is working for everyone. All of the market vendor vehicles that have parked on Western Drive and Mission Street Ext. will now be parked in this new area. <p style="text-align: left;">Market Updates:</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">*Rodoni Farm has returned to market with a variety of peas, leeks,lemons,limes,artichokes and brussel sprouts.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">*Santa Cruz Pasta Co. has joined the westside market with their locally produced fresh pastas and sauces. Santa Cruz Pasta Factory was established with a goal to provide reasonably priced, homemade meals based on the daily preparation of fresh pasta and ravioli products. Through their partnership with SCCFM, they are now sourcing a variety of ingredients from our local farms and ranchers. Stop by their stand and talk to them about this exciting trend in the food business.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">*Lucky Bear farm(formally Oso Velloso Farm) has returned to the market. They are selling strawberries,cut flowers,onions,garlic and soon padrone peppers.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">*Make sure to stop by Bee Humble Apiary for the best in locally produced honey.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>*</strong>Old Adobe Orchard  sells certified organic, Santa Cruz grown avocados at the Westside market at the Everette Family Farm) stand. They will be<strong> <strong>harvesting their Hass crop and selling at market starting September 4th. </strong></strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The  Westide Farmers&#8217; Market operates every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The market is about four years old and is a year-round market. The market is a popular destination for locals and tourist traveling from San Francisco to Santa Cruz.<br />
Besides an excellent supply of organic produce, the market has cook-to-order foods, breads,pastries,espresso bar,chocolate and fresh seafood. Come by do you market shopping, enjoy the cafe seating and live music.</p>
